One of those pubs that seems to go through managers/owners. Large and pleasant dining room and a small bar with maybe 5 tables and a high up screen showing sports channels. Two cask on - HPA and a guest Bath Ales Gem. Sadly, the beer was well past what should have been sold. My suspicions were aroused when I asked if the guest was on and was met with "I think I have some left". I really should have taken it back, but as usual, I dont like to make a fuss.

Decent enough pub which is geared towards food mainly. That said the small bar is fine. Plenty outdoor seating. Only HPA when I called at £4.70. Decent enough pint and friendly service.

Large corner pub opposite the village church, the entrance is off the car park. You enter into a smallish square public bar, although this is a dining pub above all and there’s a dining room along one side of the pub. There’s a couple of screens, which were on Wimbledon on my lunchtime visit. Inevitably I suppose it’s got grey woodwork but is tastefully furnished with leather armchairs and sofas at low tables and some normal height tables with matching chairs. There are three hand pumps, Hobsons Golden Glow, Landlord and Enville Ale which was in good nick. Being a sunny day the seating area outside was rammed at lunchtime with slightly more chavvy punters than I expected.
