Quirky interior with a nice green tiled bar front. Keg only.

Curious venue, almost deserted on my entrance a bit after 6.30pm. Even fewer in I suspect than when Alan started his NW6 crawl at 11am 2 weeks over 10 years ago. The venue certainly likes its lighting elects from the coloured glass bottle on the left hand side of the bar as you come to the massage therapy room style lighting on the small room to the right hand side of the venue. The covered small terrace at the front of the pub was pleasant in all respects other than the dose of CO you would get from the traffic on Kilburn High Rd.
Quaffs wise this was a step down from the previous venue this evening and so definitely negates the otherwise reasonably pleasant interior. Only the same two Beavertown stalwarts as previous venue and Guinness (my choice here as Alan’s on his visit) to counter the relentless onslaught of chrome taps dispensing moribund lager liquids.
Shares the same name and in same ownership as the ex-Cobden Arms on Camden High St visited by me on 6/11/23, but there i remember I had a pint of Five Points XPA so similarity in name only!

Still as Alan described it.No cask and just mainstream kegs but busy.Sky sports dominated the pub.
