Visited the Hollybush on two or three occasions and can say it is a smart and attractive place which mixes modern with traditional. Food orientated, it offers well-kept ales and a pleasant ambience.

Close to the Caldon Canal,this is a food orientated establishment.The interior is smart and the upmarket menu has 7 starters and 10 mains.Four of us ate here and all found the food quality very high.There is a drinking area close to the bar for those who dont want to eat.The three handpumps were serving Titanic Steerage,Wadsworth 6X and Hancock HB all in good nick.This place may not suit the pub traditionalist but for a hungy and thirsty crew this place proved solid value for money with very attentive service.Good website gives more info.
