Found this pub OK which i think had a refurb a couple of years ago. The bar was to the left on entry and other areas set out well including a dining area in the conservatory. The only thing that let it down was only one of the four cask beers was in operation.

Very nice looking pub, inside very smart eatery.
Sadly can't comment on the food or drink as, after trying three doors all with steps (in the rain), none of the staff could be bothered to help me with my father-in-law's wheelchair.
Went there to see my Grandfather's name on the War memorial outside the pub. So not a total waste of a visit.
