This is one of the seedier places in Muswell Hill and probably one to avoid if over 25. It wasn’t that busy on a Wednesday night visit, but it does get packed at the weekends and the bouncers are certainly needed to control the rowdy crowd. The bar staff were nice enough, but only Becks and Staropramen were available on draught although there was an extensive spirit selection.
There is a toilet attendant who I think was there to stop shenanigans going on in the cubicles, not that he seemed to be doing a great job looking at the state of some of the patrons. He informed me that during the daytime this place shows the football on the screens and then in the evening it turns into the club that is open until around 2am.
I can’t see myself returning here.
