Greene King pub, but not bad given some Greene King pubs are not very appealing. Pub is on two levels, limited seating space downstairs but good enough. Tends to have Sky Sports on TV.

A large two floored barn that used to be a Hogshead. Dark and dingy lower bar sports three GK mainstream ales (IPA, OSH, Abbot) and my Abbot was decent. No ale in the upper bar though the room and seating here is a lot nicer. Nauseous corporate brown décor, kiddie music and muted TV predominate. Management lax – tables were left uncleared despite being told by shift manager ours would be. If these are the standards, I wouldn’t touch the food on offer. Given that Spoons is next door, I am surprised that this place has managed to position itself at an even lower end of the market.
