Looks like this one has gone for good , the old favorite , empty pub gutted by unexplained fire .

Friendly locals pub slightly off the beaten track between Dawley and Horsehay , the bar is on two levels with the servery on the upper level .
Usual keg taps with one changing guest ale , an OK Church End Goats Milk on my visit .
Service was friendly as were the locals .
Not worth a special visit but a good solid local pub
