Steve of N21 left this review about Lamb Inn
The Lamb is another pub on the main High street within the old town walls and is probably the most traditional looking from the outside with its large arched windows. Like a lot of the establishments on the High Street it takes full use of the conversion of the inner section of Tenby to pedestrian only during the hours of 11 to 6 by having plenty of outside tables and chairs.
I was initially confused to why a lot of the outside seating was taken by senior citizens enjoying a cup of tea, but this is explained when entering the pub to find that it incorporates a cafe which is reached by going down a few steps.
This pub itself is on the right as you enter with the bar section along the wall and then seating to the front and beyond the bar. The decor was a bit too dark red colour for me and has a bit of a dated feel to it. So I wasn’t that keen to stay anyway, but then to find that this Marston’s house had two hand pumps on the bar, both of which were off, cemented the decision to leave quickly. Not a good experience and there are a lot better places to go in Tenby IMHO.
