A cocktail bar with a couple of decent lagers (Budvar, Erdinger) plus a couple of hand pumps hidden away at the back - not actually on the bar itself. In fact, if it hadn't been for the banner outside advertising local ales, I would have turned around and walked out, so well hidden were the two pumps. Both were serving beers from Brampton Brewery (Best and Bud), which is about as local as you can get. My Best was in good nick, though a little pricey at £3.10 a pint. I wouldn't go out of the way to come here again, though if you're with a crowd that likes to come to this sort of bar, it's good to know you can get a decent beer here.
