This is a Toby Carvery pub that is large, very large. I do not normally like large corporate pubs, but as this one was the closest one to where we were staying that you would want to visit, we spent several sessions in it, and it was OK. The first time we visited in the middle of the afternoon it was packed and a bit uncomfortable, but the other sessions were better. Greene King IPA on handpump at £2.60, which was always good, with Adnams Bitter and Broadside also available. One quirky aspect is that you have to pay to park, (the barmaid informed me it was not their car park, which seems strange as the pub sits in the middle of it,) but this is refunded when you buy something at the bar. The ticket says it will be refunded when you buy food, but they will refund it for any purchase. Onthe Tuesday evening there was a quiz night on, which is a nice pub type thing for a corporate outlet to do.
