Colin Walker left this review about Falls of Dochart Inn
The main pub is situated in an old blacksmiths dating from the late 1800’s and is in a great position by the bridge which is over the picturesque Fall of Dochart. When entering the pub remember to duck down as the front door entrance is very low. The bar sits at the back wall as you enter and there is a very large semi-circular open hearth fireplace on the right. To keep the fire going to the right sits the pubs own “Highland Granny”. To tell the truth I never ever seen her move, but she does keep very still. The stone tiled floor looks like it was installed when the place was first built. The pub is decorated with various antiques including Jacobean swords. There are 3 guest ales available. There are some tables and chairs in the bar area. To the left is the restaurant where seating is available for about 20 people. The food is served weekdays from 12:00-15:00, 18:00-21:00; 1200-21.30 Sat & Sun. There are also rooms available. The pub is opened from 12:00-midnight, 12:00-01:00 on Fri & Sat & 12:00-23:00 on Sun. There is car parking available to the right of the pub.
