Rambling food led pub near the Lightwater Valley theme park, very popular sunday cavery. A much extended old stone building with a bar, several dining areas and a nice garden intruded into by the car park. The bar counter is in a room with some seats that acts as a public bar and there's a lounge area with sofas on the other side of the bar counter. Décor very much old rural building with exposed beams and farming implements. Three pulls on the bar dispensing reasonably kept, but a touch cold, Black Sheep Bitter and Golden Sheep plus Theakstons Best. Keg offerings from Carling, 1664, Guinness, Strongbow, plus the rather more palatable Grolsch Blonde and Bitburger
