The Cellar Door is quite an upmarket dining establishment located in a a cellar, funnily enough.
I paid it a visit it late on Thursday afternoon before any diners had arrived. Once down the stairs from the street, there is a small bar area, with a larger area for seating beyond. Another couple did arrive to dine during my visit.
Whilst there's no real ales here, the Cellar Door does have a few craft beers, which were Downlands You Can't Trust A Swan, George Samuel Tiers For Fears, Full Circle Meridian & Damm Inedit Damm.
My Downlands beer was very enjoyable, despite being from the other end of the country. But despite being welcomed in, this place is not really set up for those here just for a drink.
Nevertheless, if you're here for a meal, you'll be faced with an interesting selection of beers.

No surprises - down some steps to the bar on the right. Mainly set out for dining, but no problem just having a drink.
