Closed a few months ago. The Prince has been sold to the work next door who have applied to demolish it to make way for a car park. A real shame in my opinion.
Now gone for good !

An interesting pub this one, from the outside. What looked like a cottage-styled pub in a creamish render, with bay-windows (and low-level side extension), seems to have had the top spliced off and replaced by a steep pitched roof, with front and side gables in white board. There is a rear patio area.
The interior has a U-shaped room around the serving bar. The decor has red and white walls, with a creamish ceiling and a red patterned carpet. There were red perimeter seats and stools. A mix of Victorian style prints and mirrors accompanied fake flowers for decoration. There were a few TVs with the footy on and the music, supplied via the karaoke, was a bit on the loud side. I didn't get chance to explore too much as it was pached, so not sure on darts and pool etc. The service was fine and the place quite full with locals for the karaoke.
Beer; tap stuff with Banks's MILD and bitter, with Pedigree on handpull. The bitter and MILD were OK.
A straight-forward pub which on a personal level i just caught at a bad time for me, as the somewhat loud karaoke started. Otherwise, a place to pop into for one really.
