We offer this poetic gift for Paul,
and new friends Cetin, Ilvija and all,
our little verse for everyone to see
as thanks for gracious hospitality.

For though the mist and pouring rain might try
to fill the morning, noon, and evening sky,
we trust that every tourist quickly learns
that they will find sunshine at Rabbie Burns.
