A small, pleasant gastro-pub on Broughton Street, Treacle is more trendy than traditional, the decor making it un-cosy. It was full of arty types being loud and liberated. No real ale on offer, but the food was OK. I would be content to come here for a quick snack and a glass of wine, but it isn't my first choice of venue when there are so many good ale houses nearby.
