Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Refinery CityPoint

Modern bar / restaurant in the CityPoint development, with a tapered bar, several bookable smaller side areas and a little outdoor seating under a high atrium. Usual Drake & Morgan look and modest beer selection; no cask ale, so just a quick Anytime IPA from Meantime (£7.10) before heading to the nearby underground station.

A lunchtime venue serving the local business community, previously Corney and Barrow. It is a run-off-the-mill city eatery which does not serve real ale, so it’s fine for a refreshing lemonade or an over-priced plate of something vaguely edible, but that’s about it.
