This pub/restaurant is set on a hill surrounded by countryside with views over Bromyard. It has a good name for its own cooked food. Two ales were Black Pear and Shropshire lad.The bar and dining areas are cramped which together with the sloped gravel car park make this pub awkward for wheelchair access. This place keeps to the old style opening hours which may lead to disappointment after a long walk over the Downs. Pleasant outside sitting and childs playing area.
