The Golden Tavern was on a very busy road junction where rochdale road crosses moston lane and was also on the opposite corner to the Top Derby pub.
There was a basic bar and a more comfortable lounge inside i had a drink in the bar,this pub was a Wilsons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Lees bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Wilsons bitter.
This pub was alright for a drink and did'nt seem that rough.
