Visited 11/12/25. Visited previously 25/02/22.
Cask was Youngs Original and Winter Warmer. Keg was Aspall, Estrella, Neck Oil, Asahi, Guinness, Hawkstone lager. Obviously, an extensive wine menu!
The wine bar is on the ground floor, and the bar counter is along the left-hand wall with a tiled skirt in an otherwise bare boarded venue. There is some tall stool seating at the entrance end of the bar counter and in the windows either side of the entrance. Tall table and tall stool in the main part of the floor space with some regular tables and chairs along the partition shielding off the stairs down to the Beer Hall. Pleasant room with a wine board on the far wall with decent lighting creating a nice ambience. Heaving with late afternoon office workers in this festive period.

Not too much on the hand pumps today. Settled for a half of cider which wasn't too bad. Not an exceptional place.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Daly's Wine Bar
Sister establishment to the neighbouring Temple Brew House, this one comprises a wine bar-type pub with high tables and chairs in the bar area. Decor dominated by the bottle shelving behind the 'L'-shaped counter. A passageway leads to the Map Room with three further seating ahead. Temple Best Bitter (£3.45) and Very Pale Ale from the Essex Street Brewery available on handpump.
