Strongers . left this review about The Rose
Rose is a single room laminate floored pub with high tables across the front windows either side of the central entrance. There’s a pool table to the left and the counter is found to the right where standard and premium keg is available. During a recent Wednesday evening visit there was a strong local contingent in attendance playing pool and listening to some crap R&B music while Sky Sports News played muted on the televisions throughout. Live football is advertised, as is a regular Saturday night DJ. The barmaid/landlady managed to serve me without acknowledging that I was there, like I was a ghost. I also got the feeling that this place sees its fair share of dramas, so I’ll not be revisiting.
