The White Lion looks a bit different from the outside,not like your usuall village pub,once inside there was one very long narrow room that ran across the front of the pub, the bar was facing and this room was quite smart and also comfortable,there was another smaller room behind the main room and this had a pool table in it.
There were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Batemans XB and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Woodfords Wherry and Ruddles County.
The pub was fairly busy late saturday afternoon and it had a decent enough atmosphere.

Highly regarded pub Restaurant. Food available daiy between 12 and 9 pm. (Last orders8.45)Always 3 real ales on and a warm welcome guaranteed.
