Next door to the Globe Theatre,up some stairs guarded by bouncers to a lounge bar in a modern style with a wooden floor.It's very food orientated and waitresses in uniform are waiting to pounce,so you may have to drink vertically when it's busy. No real ale and the keg taps have the pubs own pump clips but are dispensing branded craft keg beers,which I though was a bit of a con.
Leave to the uninformed tourists.

. Wittenden left this review about Swan at the Globe
Theatre bar attached to Shakespeare's Globe,but open to the public.Mainly geared to dining, but some craft keg beer available. I winced at the price of an Anspach and Hobday Summer Gold.Hazy and tasty,but too gassy for me.No real ale.Grand views over the Thames.

Beautiful long bar facing the river.No cask but who cares when they have Anspach and Hobday-cream ale on keg.Not for traditionalists.
