The Oak is closed again. When I contacted the owner, he said they would be re-opening but would update social media when that was about to happen. Looking at social media, he doesn't seem too popular with some of the locals in the valley! A shame, as the Oak is in a fantastic village location which is a very interesting drive from Llangollen.

The Oak reopened In Autumn 2018 after a years closure. It is now run by the community with a new manager and also a new chef. Beers from Coppertown Brewery of Anglesey. Open 11.00 to 23.00 every day (Facebook).
The beautiful Ceriog Valley now has six pubs (again!), all selling Real Ales.

A great pub with local seasonal food served! Live folk music Wednesday nights and a genuinely Welsh atmosphere.
