Old Boots left this review about Green Dragon
Billed as traditional pub it pretty much lives up to that inside, exposed stone and beams with a splendid carved counter, all of uncertain age. It has obviously been renovated and changed over the years but still retains a neat inglenook fireplace. Decor consists mainly of those increasingly irritating pictures based on old portraits with animal heads plus a few old ads, bird pictures and things. At the front there’s a bar to the left with the nice carved counter, a sitting room to the right then one more behind and up some stairs another room. I didn’t look but I think that’s where the pool table is, it’s free on Tuesdays. Four pulls on the counter with Abbeydale Moonshine and a reasonable Taylor’s Landlord, not sure the others are ever used, three low T-Bars serve a standard range of kegs, just one cider, five lagers, neck oil and John smith’s smooth. I agree with JAQPTIO about the bloody marquee. Not a bad place but quiet when I popped in.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Green Dragon
Large country style pub with a traditional interior with a relaxed atmosphere. There was a log burning stove set in a splendid looking fireplace with was close to the bar in the main lounge as you enter. There was another right hand side room which was another good spot to relax over a beer. Four handpumps with two in use serving TT Landlord and Abbeydale Moonshine.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Green Dragon
Proper village pub right by the church, although I suppose Dronfield is actually a town, but that's how it feels. On the other hand, the marquees covering the front patio seating don't help the initial impressions. Anyway, the multi-room bar and general seating areas were near enough full early on a Friday evening, so this place is obviously serving its market well. Four real ales on handpump: Landlord, Hobgoblin, Abbeydale's Moonshine and an exemplary Bradfield Farmers Blonde (£3.10).
