Pub just off the A39 that appears to be reknowned for its food.
Getting here proved to be a bit of a chore with Google showing that the A39 was closed and sending me down some very narrow lanes. In actual fact, it wasn't closed at all.
Opening hours are very limited here. The pub is open 3 days a week (Friday-Sunday) for lunch and 5 days a week (not Sunday or Monday) for dinner. In fact, all other customers were dining.
Surprisingly with only one real ale (Teignmouth Deckhand), the Red Lion features in the latest 2022 Good Beer Guide.
