Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Swallows Nest

Large dining pub, formerly branded as a Vintage Inn, with an opened out and extended reversed L-shaped layout. All parts refurbished in a smart semi-modern style, and also has a decent beer garden as you expect. Two real ales on handpump: Doom Bar and Pure UBU from Purity (£4.90), with Mad Goose from the latter brewery coming next.

Vintage Inn - so smart decor and geared for family dining.

A wonderful terrace around the back, with great elevated views over Birmingham.

Ale wise - there was the usual Doom Bar and other standards. I tried for an UBU purity, but that was off. A Stella for £4.25 was the compromise.
