A small single room bar in a one-off building, with a diner on the first floor. It was closed earlier this year after a suspected arson attack, but is now repaired and open again as before, offering Yarmouth’s only opportunity for a drink after 9:30pm on some nights. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the customers a mixed bag. It has a nice feel to it, with wooden benches and tables and an airy atmosphere. The restaurant upstairs specialises in fish dishes. Only one ale on, Doombar, which was in average condition. A venue for salty seamen and others, though hard to swallow as a truly comfortable pub experience.

Small bar underneath restaurant, appealing to boaty types. Doom Bar and Island Gold on draught at time of visit. You probably need to be a regular. Tends to close in the winter.
