The Lock Keeper is a new build pub, that is quite close to the Chesterfield canal, but i did'nt see any locks nearby.
Once inside there is a large L shaped room, the bar faced, the dining area was to the left, this area took up most of the pub, annoyingly most tables in this area were unused but had reserved signs on them there was a small drinking area to the right which had normal tables and chairs, this area was packed with drinkers.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Bombardier which was a decent drink, the other beer was Pedigree.
The pub is child friendly, they were even in the drinking area.
In my opinion this is a pretty poor pub to have a drink in.
