An old village local built in the limestone of this part of the Peak District. It's quite comfortable inside, with a long bar serving three real ales. Peak Ales Bakewell Best Bitter was the only local offering, the others being Wylam Angel from the north-east and the almost ubiquitous Wells Bombardier. I was on ginger beer as I was driving, so can't comment on the beers. As it was a sunny day we took our drinks to the bench/tables in the garden to one side.

This is a decent looking pub in a nice location opposite the village green.
This was quite a nice pub inside and there were four real ales on here i had a drink of Thornbridge Lord Marples and this was quite nice there was also Wincle Rambler, Storm Summer Breeze and Black Sheep.
This is quite a nice pub to have a few drinks in.
