Village pub which majors on Nepalese food. Two hand pumps, with GK IPA turned around and Landlord pretty good but expensive (£2.80 for a half). Pleasant garden to sit in - the interior feels too much like a restaurant.

GK locals outlet with pool and TV and a lot more earthy than the Sun over the way. Modern piped music up against Wimbledon was grating. Cask-wise it was just London Glory available which in fairness was in very good nick (NBSS 4), poured by a young and slightly over-familiar barman. Clientele-wise, I must have been the second oldest here and I’m not exactly ancient, so they're doing something right in terms of longevity. Not my kind of place but the cask quality and general liveliness was refreshing.

I got Friday Lunches off so we decided to meet for lunch, we had to been to the White Horse, we were both near it so we decided we would try lunch there, absolutely amazing!
We went in, it was a rainy day so we sat inside, a corner table on the sofa, ordered our drinks and food (opted for Samosas & Spring Rolls for Starters, then a bowl of chips and Prawn Salad for Bettina, and Cheesey Chips and Goats Cheese Salad for me), we sat down, starters came out shortly after, we ate our starters, finished our drinks, waitress / barmaid was really lovely, cleared our plates, got us fresh drinks and then brough out our food.
