A nice, unassuming little pub. The friendly staff and the layout of the pub, with several rooms off the central bar area, give it a homely feel. There were 3 Wye Valley beers on when I visited and I had a fine pint of Butty Bach.
As for food, the pub has a rather conventional menu, but don't be fooled by that - The Druid does traditional pub food very, very well. The Sunday lunches in particular deserve the accolades they get, and are real value at under £10 for 2 courses.
If you're heading for the Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest Centre just up the road, it's well worth throwing in a visit to the Druid Inn as part of the trip.

Out in the sticks, this place features in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide and was voted Ceredigion CAMRA Pub of the Year for 2008. Certainly ticks some boxes straight off - a couple of ales on, including the perennially yummy Butty Bach, which was served very well by a friendly (if eccentric!) barman. This a truly local pub which is very quiet in the afternoons but gets busy in the evenings with friendly punters making for a convivial atmosphere. A room off to the right hand side leads to an outside smoking area. Cosy inside, with some pictorial history up on the walls - could imagine this being a great place to sink a few ales on a cold winters night (of which there are many in Goginan I imagine). There are some tables set up for dining and I've been told good things about the food. Apparently has a rather spectacular cellar hewn from the bare rock, I forgot to ask to have a look but apparently they will show you if you ask on a quiet evening.
A really worthwhile stop and a nice double-header with its posh cousin the Tynllidiart up the road in Capel Bangor.
