The Brickyard bar & Grill is situated just outside the busy ring road and is in a pretty unusual looking single story building.
Once inside this place seems very upmarket and not for the likes of me,there is a single square shaped room with the bar on the right side,the floor is bare boarded and the seating in the bar area chunky wood tables and stools,the left side of the room is set aside for diner only and has normal tables and chairs.
There were no real ales on the bar,or keg bitter so i had a drink of Heineken which set me back £2.50 for a half,a sign outside says the West End comes to Romford,well at those prices i think it as passed the West End by in its pricing.
There was a TV to the front showing Wimbledon and it was empty on my late Thursday afternoon visit.
I am not sure this place sits with the rest of Romford which is more working class.
Not my sort of place at all,but i was served.
