The Shire Horse is a lovely pub inside and out,the pub seems largly unaltered inside we went in the room to the left of the front door this was very comfortable, this is probably a Marstons house there were two handpumps on the bar The Pedigree was very nice there was also Jennings cumberland on this pub is well worth a visit.

Friendly rural local with a good homemade menu, (very rare around these parts of the country). Serves good Marstons Pedigree and a guest ale.
