Sandinista is a lager and taco bar that serves “Latin Scran for Gringos”. The serving counter runs across the rear to the left and the open taco kitchen in to the right. Lots of keg taps line the back bar, but the television showing the draught selection was broken so not entirely sure what was available. The barmaid was also a bit cagey about the selection, apparently my £6 was exchanged for a pint of Alhambra. I also struggled to understand the taco menu, so decided not to eat as planned. The furniture is old and battered, I expect it was reclaimed from a pub closure many years ago. I didn’t see anything that would draw me back.

Eventually managed to call in here last week, when it was quiet. I still don't see what all the fuss was about. It smelt very strongly of fish during our visit. Loads of bench or dining tables all packed a little too closely together and an open kitchen, nence the smell. A large range of fizz on the bar, but still no real stuff, won't bother again.

Tried to call in for a beer last Friday. The place was absolutely heaving with the after work crowd and I couldn't even get to the bar, so I decided to leave it. It's a fizz only bar anyway.
