It was quiet in here during a recent Tuesday evening visit as the only two customers watched football via BT Sport with an affable lady who was running the bar. There are two bars, the seemingly larger of which was closed with lights out. I did have a peer through the back bar to spot a large plasma screen and a pool table. A second pool table resides in the smaller ’public’ bar where I spent my visit. The jukebox on the wall was off for the football. There is no real ale, only standard keg, and I didn’t spot any food advertised. Out the back is an enclosed patio area that I did not visit on this occasion.
