The Princess is an L-shaped Craft Union pub with seating across the front and a bar counter up the right to more seating at the rear. A dartboard hangs on the left wall and decent sized garden sits out the back. Televisions throughout were airing muted Olympics during a recent Friday evening visit while a young women sang along to music videos, like a one person karaoke. I felt a bit sorry for her because the pub was almost empty with all the locals out the back enjoying the balmy evening. The young ladies running the jump were all friendly, standard and premium keg were available alongside London Pride and Wye Valley HPA from the three hand pumps. I thought this place was pretty good for a CU pub.

A tidy looking Victorian corner pub that changed name to the Princess after the death of Diana. It is in cream render with purple paintwork. There is a corner entrance, a dog tooth cornice and a nice row of sash windows in the upper storey. There is a patio area at the back.
The interior has a single room that i saw, as all the old internal arrangement had been knocked into one. The front area is in yellow and wood panel, with the back area in brick, yellow and red split wall, with a yellow ceiling. There is a wood floor at the front, stone flag in the middle, where the serving bar is and a carpet at the back in the loungey area. There is a brick fireplace and red bench seats and stools. The walls have eclectic photos and prints, as well as bottles, mirrors and old metal signs - some on the ceiling. There were a couple of TVs, with the footy on, no music and a couple of dart boards. The service was fine and it was busy with a mixed crowd.
Beer; the usual tap stuff with Wye Valley HPA, Holden's Golden Glow, Enville Ale and Abbot Ale. The Glow was decent.
This is a quality pub; a nice pub with a cracking choice of beer. I will certainly be back here.
