This is a detached hotel, eatery, cocktail bar and pub that is in the GBG. It is a 1970S extended, c1920s pub (the central part) - the extensions being the wings - in other words, the hotel part. It is in white and red, with front patio. The pub part is an L-shape and is in cream patterned wallpaper with blue carpet, stone serving bar and blue comfy seating. Sea pictures are on the walls. They do food but we didn't eat. The music was very quiet and the TV had Sky Sports News on. There is a restaurant area at the back, but everyone seemed to be eating in the pub part - a family clientele. The service was fine. Beer; usual tap stuff with Leffe - which is actually what I had when i saw the Theakston's XB, Pedigree and London Young's Gold - not the most inspiring for a GBG pub. I did relent and had half of the Young's and the XB, both were fine. Not really sure how this made the GBG, but it is a solid enough place.
