A lovely village local, just off the beaten track but easily reachable when turning off the A470. There were a couple of choice ales and a cider on in decent form, along with some good no-nonsense food during my visit (and they were happy to make small adjustments for Mrs Quinno's funny tummy). The interior is pretty large so there's plenty of places to sit, with exposed beams, open stonework and a flagstone floor to gawp at. Pool table and dart board available. Service was friendly and I will make a point of returning again in future if nearby. Apparently opens at 9am in the morning for tea and coffee too. This is the sort of pub every village should have.
