The Swan and Salmon is on the southern edge of Alfreton and it used to be a John Smiths tied house.
This pub looks like an estate pub but once inside here the pub is very smart and comfortable and also does food and has a carvery.
There are two real ales on here i had a drink of Pedigree and this was a decent drink the other beer was Bombadier.
There is a small decking area at the front of the pub with a few tables and there is also a larger decking area at the back of the pub.
I thought this was a decent pub to have a couple of drinks in.
