No cask. Three hand pumps in this GK venue but none dispensing and chatting with the bar staff none is offered, no call for it apparently. The keg options were Carlsberg, Fosters, Moretti, Coors, Madri, San Miguel, Peroni, Stella, John Smiths, Guinness, original, strawberry, and dark fruits SB.
Large Hungry Horse venue with car parking at the front and side of the venue. Inside it is largely bare boarded and L shaped, a big L with the bar counter on the rear wall from the inside right angle to the left-hand side of the venue. There are some tall tables and backed stools opposite the bar counter between that and a tan leather banquette inside the frontage. There was another area over the left-hand edge of the venue with regular tables and chairs plus a good deal of floor space in the middle suggesting it might be used for functions. A small guitar ensemble was practicing in the area on my visit. To the right of the corner entrance was a raised carpeted seating area with regular tables and chairs and the boarded area between that and the side of the bar counter hosting some tall tables served by tall stools and a leather studded tan banquette. Beyond this to the far part of the L was a carpeted area on two levels with many regular tables and chairs suggesting this is the main part of the dining area. Several screens in the venue tuned into silent sport, the noise provided by a medium volume funky soundtrack and, initially, the guitar practice group. There was a small, paved beer garden at the side of the venue with a mixture of wooden furniture, and a small amount of covered seating. Nothing special but a type of venue that seems to do well in these suburban locations.
