Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Carpenters Arms

Very simple pub serving a hamlet, retaining two small bars (one just a corridor / snug with a bit of bench seating) with plain furniture and limited decoration that hasn't been refreshed for decades. Also has a little rustic beer garden to one side. Two Kent Brewery beers - Cain & Abel (£3.80) and Black Gold - available from the three unclipped handpumps. Such pubs were once common in rural areas, but this one is now a rare survivor...
