This is now called Venom. I only went into the ground floor bar, which was enough for me. This was a simple black room with the bar to the rear left. It seems to be more nightclub though it was open on my Wednesday late afternoon visit. No real ale. Not particularly good but it isn't aimed at me anyway.

The former Africa Alive has now closed down and has re-opened as Moo. It is more of a nightclub than an out and out pub. The place is split over 3 floors. On the ground floor there is live DJ's, Karaoke & dancing. It has 2 bars including shots & bottle bar. On the 1st floor there is a balcony bar, live bands, tribute acts, duos, open mic nights and blues night once a month. On the 2nd floor, VIP exclusive area and a champagne bar. There is the usual array of drinks are available, cocktails, shots, draft & bottled beers and ciders. The Blackpool poet’s society meets the 1st Friday of every month. The place offers a bistro menu along side traditional bar snacks each day and evening.
