No cask. Keg offering of Guinness, Original SB, Fosters, Carlsberg, John Smiths and Stella doubled up on two sets of six taps.
Pretty basic venue, long rectangle off the main road opposite Mill Hill Broadway station. Bare boarded throughout with the bar counter on the wall on the right-hand side mid venue. Even though there weren't many punters in on my late evening visit, most congregated on the tall stools at the bar counter. The rest of the seating here was on fabric banquettes and booth seating in front of the bar counter and beyond it. The lower part of the walls had light wood panelling, and the upper part was papered with small, framed pictures of a variety of forms. A few TV's but all switched off on my visit, the sound being provided by piped Heart radio.

This place shows Sky Sports and has a couple of screens in the main bar area and another in the back room where the dartboard is located. There is no smoking at the rear due to it being an access way for the flats above, so a group of bedraggled old soaks are usually standing at the entrance puffing away making this place seem very unwelcoming. Looks can be deceiving, but in this case you would be correct in assuming that this is an inferior pub with a miserable uncultured crowd.
The barmaid was having a cigarette out the front and I had to wait a few minutes to be served even though she had to move out of my way as I walked in. I shouldn't have bothered wasting my time as she was far from nice and the standard selection of draught didn't feel me with glee.
This is one to avoid.
