Called in here on a bike ride to reach the Old Butchers Arms outside Longnor, so just wanted a quick half to keep us refreshed. Surprised to find the pub so quiet, on a summer Sunday early afternoon - we were the only customers. Just one ale on the bar, Storm Bosley Cloud from nearby Macclesfield.

Being set in Flash, the highest village in England, The New Inn is the highest "village pub" in England and 5th highest inn overall (depending on who has the most accurate ruler!).
The pub sells Real Ales from the Macclesfield Storm Brewery.
