Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Britannia

This previously gloomy basement pub has been brightened-up a bit, but it's never going to have much in the way of character. However, if this re-visit is anything to go by, the beer choice has gone downhill with Just Doom Bar (£3.95) and Jennings Cumberland from two of four handpumps, and not all of the eight craft keg taps on the bar-back working either.

This place wins the award for the loudest Karaoke I have ever had the misfortune of hearing.

I spotted Greene King IPA, Pride and Adnams all available alongside Amstel and a selection of standard draught. There is a pool table and four screens for showing the Sky Sports, but I'm afraid that I didn't stay long as my brain was hurting from the din.

I would walk past if in the area again.
