No cask. Typical keg offering of Guinness, Stella, original SB, John Smiths, Fosters, Carlsberg and Coors.
Another single bar rectangle off a busy main road. Bar counter is on a tiled area mid left-hand side with again stools around the bar counter. There is a rather ornate carved wood back to the bar. The rest of the space is bare boarded. There is a fitted studded brown leather banquette around the front part of the venue to the left of the entrance. There are some quality patterned fabric booth tables down the right-hand side of the venue. Another one where there is a fair share of TV's showing the early evening racing and again wall spaces are filled with mirrors or prints or photos of famous Irish sporting action or icons. Indeed, my second favourite equine hero of Ireland (obviously Arkle is number one), namely Istabraq, sat on the wall above me as I toasted my love of Irish racing with a pint of Guinness.

This place is pretty much what you'd expect from an Irish high street pub; the staff were nice enough and the other punters were well oiled. A standard range of draught was available and the Guinness was very nice.
There is a dart board in the back corner of the pub and there are also a couple of plasma screens that were showing the Eurovision song contest. I can't remember seeing any signs advertising sport, but I would be very surprised if this place didn't have Sky Sports and Setanta.
There is nothing that really makes this pub stand out from the thousands of other Irish pubs, so I probably won't be drinking in this particular one again.
