Nice building from the outside, typical Spoons on the inside and was expecting more from a cinema conversion. You walk down from a raised area with seating to the bar at the rear of the room. Noted some people sitting directly opposite the bar ordering on the app, bit strange but each to their own! 12 pumps, with the usual suspects, 4 guests (Jaipur x 2 at £2.29 a pint, Ludlow Blonde, Bowman Hop Hearted, Salopian Shropshire Gold x 2) and 1 cider. We went for the Ludlow and Bowman. Not too bad for a quick refreshment. Visited August 2025.

Handsome building (Art Deco cinema) and surprisingly small inside with not a huge amount of note, a disappointing conversion compared to other similar outlets in Mullet’s chain. My pint of Theako OP was tasty (NBSS 3.5) and the locals were out in force mid Saturday afternoon. 6.5

Visited around 3pm , pub still busy with mostly diners. Standard regular beers apart , I was tempted by the Jaipur but saw that Sovereign Gold from Burton Bridge was selling at 99p a pint . . . . . How do they do it ? The pub itself was tidy , the staff were able to have a chat whilst I was being served, would I visit again ? Maybe.
