Now open for a week or so amid much publicity, which looks like it's paying off, with a pleasing attendance at 6pm on a Sunday night, the more so given its isolated location. Inside there's a dining area down some steps to the right, through to the left leads to a fairly pubby drinking area (sadly including posing tables) and a more open area reminiscent of a sports pavilion with plenty of seating. Much decoration in GWR colours and then of course there is the overhead model railway whose train rattles round every few minutes.
I had a drink of Slaughterhouse Alright, Alright, Alright! Laid Back Ale which isn't listed in the Camra app so I couldn't score it a NBSS 4 but anyway it was a very nice drink. Otherwise there was UBU and Bass.
It needs to bed in a bit but a solid start and definitely deserves 7+ points.
