Corner pub that has quite a quirky interior. You enter into the main bar area, whilst there is a dining room beyond that.
The bar has lots of mismatched furniture and plenty of things to admire on the walls. Walking away from the bar, I was struggling to find somewhere appealing to sit. Seating options all seem fairly strange and not typical of a pub. I eventually settled upon a low table with a sofa next to a display of bullets.
The pub is a regular in the Good Beer Guide and has 2 real ales. For my visit, these were 6X and Bitter & Twisted. It seems to have a loyal local following, with the few that walked in seemingly knowing one another and also the staff.
I liked the quirky nature of the pub, but was hoping for better on the beer front.
